Captain John was a pleasure. The afternoon trip was perfect weather. On the way out he pointed out several historical facts. The conversation was good, and the fishing was great. We caught 14 keeper walleye, and 4 perch. We caught around 15 short walleye under 15 1/2 inches. We are planning on a morning trip next year! Great day on Lake Erie! Thanks John, see you next time. Wow! What a great trip. 2 day walleye fishing charter with Captain John and first mate Scott was perfect. First day was slow to start, the fish just weren't there. Caught a couple. We repositioned about 30 minutes to the east and BAM! Nonstop action. Limited out. Day number 2 we went back to same place. Caught fish all day long. Several big catfish also (Ky boys like em). Scott the first mate knew his stuff. We can't speak highly enough of this guy. Captain John and Scott are a great combination that in my opinion can't be topped. Trips like that are the ones that will never be forgotten. Thank you Justin, Tony, Brad, and Pops

Captain John and first mate Scott were amazing. This was our second year of using this charter and they did not disappoint. We happened to use them two days in a row with our teenage boys and they did an amazing job of teaching them and letting them be as interactive as possible For a true fishing experience . I would highly recommend using them and I will definitely be looking forward to booking our next charter with him as well.

Captain John took 3 of out in June. Our first scheduled day was bad weather and he made the correct call to cancel. We went out the next day and he put us on the fish. He will help or let you play on your own. Great fishing, clean boat and reasonably priced. I’ll go back. The Lake Erie walleye machine is incredible.

Had a great time fishing with Captain John and his 1st mate! John was fantastic at teaching us how to get the lines out and what to look for when they bit. He did a great job teaching with my 13 year old son, how to do this too! We bought this trip in an auction, as he was generous to donate it to support OSTA!
