We had a great trip with Captain Wes! We had a small group of varying ages and experience levels, and we all caught at least one good-sized Snapper and multiple other species. Wes was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions about the fish and the equipment we were using. He was very accommodating…he made sure the adults and kids each had opportunities to catch a variety of fish using different poles, bait, and methods. Prior to the trip Wes was an excellent communicator. He reached out to set the expectations of the trip and began monitoring the weather a few days out. We ended up delaying our trip due to weather based on his recommendation, and we are glad we did. The weather that day ended up being terrible, but it was perfect when we rebooked. When he found out where we were staying, he changed the pickup/drop off location to cut down on our travel time and maximize our time on the water. Everyone in our group would highly recommend Captain Wes and High Flying Charters to anyone looking to book a trip. I know we will definitely use him again next time we are in town.

Wes is a great Captain that will work hard to get you what you are fishing for. He didn’t give up on searching for fish and trying his hardest to make our time with him worth every penny! I highly recommend using High Flying Saltwater Charters for your next fishing trip! You won’t regret it!

10/10 recommend for locals or tourists alike! Wes was extremely attentive and flexible to what we wanted to get out of the trip when it came to trolling, bottom fishing, fish for eating vs fun to catch, and tailored everything to what we wanted. He had us on fish all day at every spot we tried. Both of us on the trip have done a lot of fishing and this was one of the best charters we’ve done. Lots of snapper and trigger fish all day that were fun to fight and reel in, plus the monster that broke the line and got away.
