Miles and miles of spartina grass provide an abundance of life and prey that redfish, trout, flounder, and drum cannot resist! Oyster lined flats, shell bank drop offs, and dock structure additionally provide the much needed environment for predator fish to thrive.
Winter and early spring offer some great sight fishing opportunities especially for fly fishing as the cool water becomes clear. Late spring and fall bring some of the most sought after fishing experiences with the arrival of the flood tides. If you have not experienced this, it is a must! Your hands will be sweaty and your knees shaking as redfish tail just feet away from you!
Being born and raised in Florida, I’ve spent a great part of my life on the water. At the age of 10, my father introduced me to the world of inshore fishing and there have been a lot of tight lines since. Progression has always been my focus, but never at the expense of having a fun and lighthearted experience. More than a great guide! My 9 year old had the time of his life. We fish a lot in Indiana but 1st time fishing on coast side and he is ready to come back to fish with Captain Cullen! He explained everything with great knowledge and we fished hard and caught 7 species of fish.

Cullen not only runs a phenomenal guide service, but is the type of person anyone would want to spend a day on the water with. Cullen is extremely knowledgeable and knows the waters around St. Augustine like the back of his hand and caters to anglers of all skill levels, using a variety of techniques. He is someone I try to gain knowledge from every outing. My father and I have been out on multiple trips with him and he has put us on quality fish every time. Cullen is 100% our go-to guide in St. Augustine.
