Our diverse range of trips is designed to cater to various interests, ensuring an exciting experience for everyone. The Near Shore Shark Adventure is particularly ideal for families and beginners, offering the thrill of the sea with opportunities to catch smaller sharks, stingrays, flounder, and croaker. For those interested in wreck fishing, we offer Half-Day Trips that are perfect for exploring local wrecks and reefs within 15 miles of the shore, where you can expect a rich variety of species such as black sea bass, flounder, triggerfish, and tautog. Our Full-Day Trips take you about 30 miles offshore to less-frequented areas, promising larger catches of these thrilling species. For a more intense experience, our Deep Dropping trip is a full-day, 8+ hour journey targeting tilefish, with the chance of catching black seabass, rosefish, and grouper as well. Lastly, for the ultimate fishing challenge, our Offshore Excursions are 12+ hour journeys aimed at hunting for tuna, mahi mahi, and marlin, providing an unparalleled adventure on the high seas

I had my first outing with Captain Austin Pryor on the Hillbilly Express in October 2023 at Harker's Island, NC. Captain Austin displayed impressive knowledge of the local fishing spots, the best targets, and the right bait to use. He navigated the waters expertly, even in challenging conditions. We had a great haul, catching numerous King Mackerel, Amberjack, False Albacore, Spanish Mackerel, and other species. I was so pleased with the experience that I've already reserved the same week for another trip on the Hillbilly!
