Hounddog Fishing Charters

Today was an absolute blast for my stepfather and me, all thanks to Captain Phillips and Hounddog Fishing. Captain Phillips is incredibly knowledgeable, highly experienced, and an absolute joy to spend a fishing day with. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I recommend this charter. We explored numerous fishing spots and had great success, landing several flounder and redfish, with one remarkable redfish measuring around 40 inches! If you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to book this charter – you'll undoubtedly have a fantastic experience.

During our vacation in Oak Island, we arranged a charter with Captain Artie, and I must say, Captain Artie's hospitality was exceptional. We had an incredibly successful day on the water, reeling in a multitude of black drum, flounder, redfish, and other species. Captain Artie's expertise became evident when he positioned us right amidst a school of black drum. Remarkably, even though our scheduled charter time had elapsed, Captain Artie graciously extended our fishing time because the fishing was simply too good to call it quits! We all had an absolute blast and deeply appreciate Captain Artie's unwavering dedication to ensuring we found the fish. Without a doubt, I'll be booking with you again on our next vacation!

Artie proved to be an outstanding guide, and my son and I enjoyed a fantastic journey with him. Not only did we have a lot of fun, but we also acquired valuable knowledge along the way. We reeled in some impressively large flounders, and although we didn't manage to hook everything we were aiming for, Artie demonstrated relentless effort to make our goals a reality. Yet another enjoyable day on the water with Captain Artie! We had a successful day in terms of the number of fish we caught, although, regrettably, none of them were keepers this time. We had an enjoyable experience, although it was unfortunate that the strong winds limited our ability to explore all the locations Captain Artie had planned for us. Perhaps on our next outing, we'll have better luck with the weather!
