When we stepped on board and saw the St. Croix poles, I had a feeling it would be an excellent excursion. Unlike some charters with subpar equipment, Mike provides top-notch gear, ensuring a successful trip. He even worked tirelessly until the last minute to help my son catch a bigger fish than mine, a moment my boy won't let me forget, but that's exactly what I was hoping for and thoroughly enjoyed.

My family and I embarked on a two-hour journey with Captain Mike, and from start to finish, he proved to be an exceptionally professional and courteous guide. Initially, I had reserved an 8 am trip, but Captain Mike suggested a slightly later departure to take advantage of a more favorable incoming tide. This seemingly minor adjustment demonstrated Captain Mike's commitment to ensuring we had the best possible experience during our brief time together. And what a fantastic suggestion it turned out to be! The photo above captures just four of the numerous oversized redfish we reeled in. From the moment our lines touched the water, the big catches kept coming. This excursion felt like a truly unique experience, and I genuinely consider sharing it with Captain Mike and my family to be priceless. Still finding it hard to put into words, I eagerly anticipate returning to Clearwater for another fishing adventure with Captain Mike.

An amazing experience with Captain Mike! A true professional and expert guide, he took our party of four to a fantastic reef, resulting in a total catch of around 35 fish, from red snappers to groupers.
