A superb journey with Captain Gavin, who proved to be an all-encompassing expert. From navigating the waters and interpreting weather patterns to strategically placing us for successful fishing, his customer service was exceptional. Not only did he skillfully clean, cut, and fillet our catch, but he also generously shared his family's Cajun recipe for cooking them. Overall, it was evident that he genuinely aimed for us to have an exceptional fishing experience, and he delivered on both fronts. I highly recommend this trip and Captain Gavin.

This fishing excursion was a positive overall experience. Among the seven guys on the two chartered boats, one had never been on a boat or fished before, and another had never experienced an inshore fishing trip. John Lafitte Charters effectively conveyed the essence of catching speckled trout, leaving a good impression. We definitely plan to use their services again!
