My son and I recently had the extreme pleasure of going sturgeon fishing with Johnny, and the experience was truly unforgettable! From the moment we met, Johnny exuded warmth, professionalism, and a deep knowledge of the sport. What I particularly appreciated was Johnny's patient approach, especially with my son. My son loves to fish, but the prospect of landing a monster sturgeon made him a bit uneasy. I suspect that Johnny could tell my son was a bit nervous, so he immediately said all the right things to put my son's mind at ease and make him feel safe. Not only did he take the time to teach us the basics, ensuring we had a solid understanding, but he also shared invaluable tips and stories from his years of experience. He also taught us a great deal about these absolutely remarkable fish. They really are incredible. His genuine passion for fishing and his commitment to ensuring his guests have an extraordinary experience was evident throughout the day. The equipment was top-notch, the boat impeccably maintained, and the fishing spots he chose were teeming with sturgeon. We felt safe, guided, and taken care of during our entire trip. Johnny was also kind enough to bring my son and I some smoked salmon he made from salmon he had caught. I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had. We caught 6 incredible fish in total! My son landed the biggest one of the day, almost 8 feet long and weighing an estimated 273 lbs (exact measurements were 93" in length and 38" in circumference). My son was over the moon catching monster fish that dwarfed every other fish he'd ever caught, including some monster salmon in Campbell River. I wholeheartedly recommend Johnny's Sport Fishing for anyone looking to create lasting memories and learn from one of the best in the business. The experience was so incredible that I'm committed to doing this again with some friends and family, and we'll definitely be using Johnny's Sport Fishing. Nothing but laughter, good views, and good memories… oh and HUMONGOUS FISH! My husband has been dying to catch his dream fish, the Sturgeon. He keeps raving about how this was the best fishing experience of his life, to date. Can’t recommend Johnny enough! Thank you!

My wife and I fished with Johnny last week for three days and had an incredible time. We caught 19 sturgeon in 3 days of fishing. Johnny is knowledgeable, patient, and knows the river inside and out. This was my first time fishing the Frazier River and I would only go again fishing with Johnny. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a great time and catch lots of sturgeon.

Great guided tour by John. Professional and very knowledgeable in all aspects of it. Just fill your cooler with ice and your good to go. John had everything covered, and gave us an experience of a lifetime. (He is also an excellent photographer)
