We had a great day out on the water with Jeanessa for our 4-Hour Nearshore Fishing Adventure with KYS Outdoor Adventures. The weather was partly cloudy throughout the day, with some afternoon rain rolling in, but that didn't dampen our spirits one bit. The water conditions were excellent, perfect for targeting the area's diverse inshore species. As we headed out from La Push, we kept a keen eye out, using a variety of techniques to work the nearshore structure and baitfish schools. It didn't take long before the action started heating up. Jeanessa was the first to hook into a feisty Tripletail, putting up a great fight before we were able to get it into the boat. The fish put on an impressive aerial display, thrashing on the surface, and we couldn't wait to get the next one. Shortly after, I hooked into a chunky Black Rockfish that made some strong runs before succumbing to the pressure. The bite remained steady throughout the trip, with both of us getting in on the action. It was great to see Jeanessa's enthusiasm grow as she reeled in fish after fish, learning new techniques and honing her skills. Inshore fishing in La Push can be incredibly dynamic, with everything from hard-fighting Rockfish to acrobatic Tripletail, and we definitely got a taste of that today. The rain held off just long enough for us to enjoy the scenery and soak in the experience. We had some incredible winds hit Washington this week. Just another good reason to shut the ocean down thru the winter. With all that being said, don't wait to start making plans for next season. Forks, Washington is absolutely gorgeous. And we now have some partnerships with a few campsites in the area as well as Seattle Airbnb stays if you want help creating an all inclusive package. Had a fantastic trip with Capt Lamont! Brought the whole family (kids are 6 and 9) and it was a truly a memorable experience. Caught our limit (30 big fish!) because Captain Lamont put us right on the spot. He was great with the kids even with them having a bit of sea sickness. Saw whales, dolphins, and sea lions for an added bonus! Highly recommend!

We had a great time with the KYS Outdoor Adventures! Captain Lamont and Kahalid did a masterful job of locating the best fishing spots. More importantly, they made the adventure fun. Their hospitality was second to none. My grandson said “ it was the highlight of the whole week in NW Washington”. Kudos!

Captain Nelson and crew are all really great. They communicate well, set expectations, explain things clearly, always stay positive, and make sure you all have a safe and enjoyable time. He is flexible with your group, depending on how it's going and what you want to target. The boat and gear are all in great shape. He quickly and expertly cleaned all our fish on the dock when we returned. This last trip I had 3 kids with me. Captain & crew made sure that they all had a great time. All of them want to go again.

Had a great time catching fish with Captain Lamont. He took me and my friend about 30 miles out where after checking out a few areas we found a spot where we easily caught our limit of both halibut and lingcod. We had some unexpected rough waters on the way back but both Lamont and the boat were plenty capable and we got back smoothly. We went home with enough fish for the whole family. I was pretty amazed at how much better it tasted than store bought fish, we made fish and chips it was delicious. Looking forward to going again sometime.

My wife and I had a blast during our fishing trip with KYS Outdoor Adventures. Even though we were completely inexperienced, Lamont provided great instructions and directed us to all the fishing sweet spots which had us hauling fish after fish in no time! Couldn't keep a smile off of our faces during the entirety of the trip. Would highly recommend KYS Outdoor Adventures to anyone interested in fishing no matter their experience or skill levels.
