Each trip is designed to introduce kids and families to the rich coastal ecosystem surrounding Naples. It’s not just about fishing — it’s about discovery. Along the way, you might spot bottlenose dolphins, West Indian manatees, sea turtles, and a variety of exotic bird species that call this region home. You can even choose to extend your adventure with a stop at one of the barrier islands for some beach time, swimming, and shelling.
Your journey takes place aboard a comfortable 24’ Hurricane boat that can safely accommodate up to six guests. It’s fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a worry-free day on the water — rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are all included. Cold bottled water is provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks (no hard alcohol, please).
Depending on the season and weather, you’ll target local favorites such as Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Snapper, Black Drum, and Sheepshead using a range of techniques including bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning. All trips are catch and release, ensuring these species continue to thrive for years to come.

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Juan and I headed out this winter morning around mid-morning with clearing skies in the afternoon making for perfect conditions down by the glades. The weather started overcast but improved as we got our lines in the water, and the backcountry was calling our name. I can’t say enough good things about Captain Billy and our fishing trip! I’m an avid fisherman, and my two boys (ages 2 and 4) are just starting to get interested in fishing but still need a lot of guidance. Our trip with Captain Billy (and his grandson Justin) was the perfect first charter for them. The ride to our fishing spot was enjoyable, and along the way we saw alligators, birds, and rolling tarpon. Once we arrived, it was a non-stop bite! Captain Billy and Justin were incredibly kind and patient with our boys. We caught snook, redfish, mangrove snapper, and a few catfish, and our boys loved every second. It takes a special person to lead a charter with little kids, and Captain Billy was absolutely perfect. Thank you for the wonderful memories—our boys can’t stop talking about the trip! When we return to Naples, we’ll definitely be back.

The true sign of a great trip is when your kids ask to go again—mine have been asking for two days straight! Captain Billy and first mate Justin were calm, cool, and collected—the perfect demeanor for little ones. My sons (6 and 4) followed their instructions and caught a ton of fish. By the end of the trip, my oldest was baiting live shrimp, casting, and reeling in fish all on his own. Nothing but smiles from ear to ear! We can’t wait to book our next adventure.

This was the perfect-length trip for kids. Captain Bill and his first mate Justin were incredibly patient and helpful with everything. They were very knowledgeable about the area and the fishing. All three kids (ages 10, 7, and 3) had an absolute blast—which can definitely be a challenge! We caught lots of fish, including red snapper, catfish, and even a Goliath grouper. Both Captain Bill and Justin were personable and excellent communicators. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable fishing adventure!

We had a fantastic fishing and shelling trip with Captain Billy! He and his first mate were knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and extremely accommodating. They made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable—especially for our 3-year-old daughter. They went out of their way to help her experience the fun of fishing, guiding her as she caught fish and pointing out wildlife along the way. We caught plenty of fish, discovered amazing seashells, and created memories we’ll treasure forever. I highly recommend Captain Billy for families or anyone looking for a fun, professional, and memorable day on the water!

Capt. Billy was amazing with our four kids. From the moment the trip started, he was patient, thoughtful, and made our fishing charter full of wonderful memories. Even as someone who doesn’t fish (but whose kids have enjoyed it on a lake back home), fishing around the Gulf canals was an experience our whole family will treasure. Everyone caught multiple fish, and Capt. Billy was attentive—helping with baiting hooks, guiding casts, and making sure we had time for photos after each catch. With four kids 10 and under, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the smiles and excitement afterward made it a fantastic outing. Everyone agreed—Capt. Billy deserves 10 stars!
