You’ll be cruising the lake on board the 30’ Hewescraft, pilothouse model from 2021. It’s ample enough to take on groups of 6 guests per trip. The boat is fitted with a triple Mercury Outboard engine that can reach top speeds of 48 knots. You’ll be at your lucky spot in no time. Also, for your optimal catch, fishfinding equipment is available.
This charter covers inshore, nearshore, and offshore areas of Lake Erie which include reef locations. You can go after the mouthwatering Walley and Rainbow Trout. Though they are available all year round, your best chances of a good catch are from May till the end of September. You can go after these yummy fish using light and heavy tackle, trolling, and drift fishing.
Don’t forget to acquire your Ohio fishing license before the trip, as the charter doesn’t cover it. As for the fishing gear, lures and bait, they are provided. For a more comfortable trip, you can use the onboard toilet. What’s more, larger groups will have the help of a first mate at their disposal. In case you get your catch, you can choose to keep it or return it. Families with children are welcome.

Great outing with Tom and Jeremy. We caught a bunch of walleye and a few other fish. They are both personable and were very patient with our questions (which I’m sure they get all the time). Overall I would absolutely recommend their charter service and will likely come back out with them again.

We had a great time and caught a ton of walleye! Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable captain and first mate! If you are looking for a walleye charter on Lake Erie, look no further! We found this company when we purchased a donated gift certificate at a local kids charity event. Not only professional, but community-minded with big hearts!

A Big shout out to Lake Erie Charters Inc for providing my dad and his buddy with the trip of a lifetime!! They had such an enjoyable time learning about the different types of casting, smooth boat ride and tons of fresh fish caught and brought home!! Definitely recommend these guys they were super easy to work with and always returned my emails/questions super quick! Can’t say enough good things, can’t wait to plan our next trip!!
