Captain Jeshua Kavanaugh is a dedicated full-time fishing guide specializing in backcountry fishing for Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, and Trout. As a Native Floridian and lifelong angler, he has an in-depth understanding of local fish patterns and water conditions, ensuring his clients have the best chance at landing quality fish. His passion for the outdoors and extensive experience make every trip both exciting and educational.

With Lucky Spot Charters, guests will fish in one of the nation's premier destinations, known for its diverse fishery. Depending on the season, anglers may catch Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Mangrove Snapper, among other species. The area also boasts stunning natural beauty, offering breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, and wildlife sightings, including dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, herons, and ospreys.

Captain Jeshua operates a fully equipped Pathfinder 2300 HPS, designed for both comfort and performance. With ample storage, multiple livewells, and space for up to four anglers, the boat provides a smooth and enjoyable fishing experience. A U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain and a retired firefighter/paramedic, he prioritizes safety, is CPR/first aid certified, and ensures that every trip is both fun and secure.

All fishing essentials, including licenses, rods, reels, live bait, and tackle, are provided. Guests are encouraged to bring a hat, polarized sunglasses, and weather-appropriate clothing. A cooler with ice and water is available on board, and personal food or drinks are welcome—just no glass containers. Captain Jeshua is happy to accommodate flexible departure times upon request and looks forward to an unforgettable day on the water with his guests.
