What a day we had out on the water with the crew from Myrtle Beach! Our 8-Hour Offshore Fishing Charter was the perfect way to kick off the April fishing season. The conditions were ideal - clear skies and calm seas made for a comfortable ride as we headed out. Though we didn't manage to land any big prizes, we still had a great time working the water and trying our hand at different techniques. We mixed it up with some deep sea jigging, heavy tackle trolling, and even a bit of light tackle action. The variety kept us on our toes and had us covering plenty of ground to find where the fish were holding. While the bite wasn't as hot as we'd hoped, the camaraderie and overall experience made it a day to remember. Between swapping stories, taking in the coastal views, and just enjoying the peaceful rhythm of being out on the open water, there was never a dull moment. That's what these trips are all about - getting out, disconnecting from the daily grind, and creating some lasting memories with a great group of anglers. Words can't fully capture how incredible the trip was with Captain Eddie and Mongo. I've been on plenty of fishing trips, but this one was by far the best. Fishing is all about the experience, and if we catch something, it's a bonus—and with Lucky Strike, they nailed it. We got to relax while Mongo handled everything, but when the poles went off, it was time to fish! We reeled in Spanish mackerel and spinner sharks, and for me, catching the sharks was an unforgettable thrill—the power of the fight is something I'll remember. The friendly and welcoming crew made the trip even better. My girlfriend caught the biggest fish of the day—a massive 74” spinner shark—and we can’t wait to have it on our wall this Christmas!

The captain answered the phone personally and offered great advice on where to fish and what was biting, ensuring we had a successful day despite the 25 mph winds. He was spot on—we had a steady catch and even dragged a net for live bait, which was a new and interesting experience. The mate was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure we had the best possible day despite the rough conditions. He’s going to be an awesome dad this December!

Captain Ed and Mongo took excellent care of us from start to finish! We caught bait fish, saw several dolphins, and even reeled in a 5” shark. With kids on board, the crew was patient and took the time to explain everything to them. Mongo was a lot of fun and a fantastic coach! After we got back, Mongo filleted the shark for our dinner. It was a trip we’ll always remember, and as a bonus... I’m now officially the coolest aunt! Thank you for an unforgettable family experience.

Awesome trip for 5 adults and 2 kids that have never gone deep sea fishing! Captain Ed was very nice and friendly. His ship mate Mongo went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. He was excellent with the boys and always made them feel included and taught them a lot about the marine life we experienced. Highly recommend this charter and will book with them again in the future!

The captain on Sunday morning, September 22 purposely ran over my line while I was actively fighting a fish. No apology was offered from the company. What a joke these people are.
