I highly recommend Matt Fielder owner of MJF Guide Service. Matt took my son and I on a four hour guide last week while we were vacationing on Table Rock Lake. Not only did he put us on fish but he taught us a lot in the process. He didn’t just take us out and tell us where to cast. He explained to us where we were going and why, what to look for, and what lure to use. He showed us how to read the maps, graphs and fish finder to help choose the best locations to fish. We plan to book another trip out with Matt this spring. We spent our last two nights of our trip on Taneycomo and decided to try some trout fishing. My son and I had never trout fished before so I messaged Matt and he gave me some advise on bait and rig setup. We both caught trout. If your looking for a guide service give Matt a call you won’t be disappointed.

Hes a outstanding guide and tournament angler. One of the few guides that targets keepers and not shorts. Extremely fun and safe on the water with top of the line equipment. Would recommend MJF for any level of experience. From a tournament angler to a fun family weekend out with the kids. Hes a hammer for bass and a top notch guide for trout. Cant say enough for how much fun I have fishing with him.

THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEAL! I wanted to drop in and put a review about my trip. I had a guided fishing trip with Matt on Table Rock lake and I have been fishing my whole life so I'd say I'm a decent angler but the knowledge that he has and the way he explains and teaches you how the fish are and the way they act you can tell Matt eat, breathes, and sleeps fishing! I had one of the best days fishing I have ever had. He Flat out puts you on the fish!! I honestly lost count of how many fish we caught! Would give Matt 10 out of 10. Already marked in my calendar for next year and will make this a annual trip. The memories that are made are never replaceable!
