Surprised my husband with the 1/2 day a.m. trip for Father’s Day. It wasn’t the best day for fishing but Capt. Tim never gave up trying to keep us on something and keep the kids happy. We managed to bring home several trout, a few mangrove snappers, and caught several that we couldn’t keep. Even had a shark snatch one off my line right at the boat! We will definitely be back for a longer trip!

Initially, we anticipated a day of catching smaller fish offshore, but the highlight of our adventure was our son's thrilling experience reeling in an impressive 8-foot shark! Our initial plans with another company fell through, and in hindsight, it was a fortunate turn of events because Tim provided us with exceptional service! With our family of four on board, Tim ensured our fishing lines were always well-stocked with bait and the excitement never waned. He put in dedicated efforts to guarantee we had successful catches and introduced us to some fascinating fish species. To top it off, he expertly filleted the fish we were able to keep. We're already in the process of scheduling another trip with him for the upcoming Tarpon season.

I had reserved a Tarpon fishing trip for May 13, 2023, with my 13-year-old son. While there were some communication challenges leading up to the trip, as I hadn't received any confirmation messages or calls regarding the meeting point, things took a slightly rocky start. When I attempted to access the "show on map" directions in Fishing Booker, it directed me to the wrong location. Subsequently, I drove to another address listed, which turned out to be the correct one. Regrettably, the Tarpon didn't prove very cooperative during our excursion, but that's often the nature of Tarpon fishing. Nevertheless, Captain Tim persevered, making every effort to give us a chance at hooking a Tarpon. Unfortunately, it appeared to be a tough day for all the Tarpon boats in the area. I felt disheartened, especially since this trip was a special birthday gift for my son. In a commendable display of flexibility, Captain Tim proposed a Plan B, suggesting we switch to some shark fishing. Although I was somewhat discouraged, Tim went the extra mile by heading to the marina to secure chum and bait for our new plan. I genuinely appreciated his dedication to ensuring we had a memorable experience. Tim succeeded in getting my son connected with four small sharks, and the sight of my son's beaming smiles did wonders to dispel some of my initial disappointment. Captain Tim even went a step further by allowing my son to take the helm of the boat for a brief period on the return journey. Moreover, he suggested some dockside fishing as we headed back, resulting in my son catching a snapper. Tim's adaptability and commitment meant a lot to me, and I am grateful for the enduring memories of our shark fishing adventure. It's worth noting that not all captains would have readily embraced a Plan B. Some Tarpon captains might not have even allowed their clients to handle a rod and reel. For that reason, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Captain Tim for going above and beyond to make our day on the water a memorable and enjoyable experience. Thank you, Captain Tim!

Our day with Tim and his first mate, Lillie, was truly wonderful. Tim's dedication to ensuring we had a successful fishing outing was evident. His intimate knowledge of the area and his willingness to accommodate our needs made the experience even better. We were treated to some remarkable sights during our adventure, including a massive manatee, jumping stingrays, and a friendly dolphin that seemed eager to join us on the boat! The day was a perfect blend of fishing, delightful conversation, and basking in the ocean's beauty, all thanks to Tim and Lillie. Without a doubt, we'll be reaching out to Tim the next time we're in town. We may even come prepared with some special treats for Lillie to express our appreciation for the exceptional day we had.
