Marsh River Outfitters is ready to take you on an exciting fishing trip. Your guide for the day, Expert Guide Andrew Gibbs founded Marsh River Outfitters last 2015. His passion for the outdoors flourished ever since he was old enough to go duck hunting with his father. His love for this way of life stems from his long history as a trapper and all-around outdoorsman. In addition to hunting in Saskatchewan, North Dakota, Texas, Massachusetts, and Florida, he has provided guiding services for many outfitters in Maine, Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, and South Dakota.

Guide Andrew's love of nature and the outdoors led him to become a registered Maine fishing, hunting, and recreation guide. He is also a commercial boat operator and USCG charter Captain. He is just more likely to enjoy calling in a bull moose or landing a speckled trout for his sportsman friends than he would if it were for himself. Join him aboard and make memories on the water!

We offer fishing excursions throughout Maine's beautiful lakes, as well as fly-fishing and bass trips on the Penobscot River. All of our trolling expeditions are done in either a 16' Starcraft or 20' Lund boat with downriggers and lead core lines—ready for your enjoyment! We troll for bait, lures, and flies to suit the fish. During our trolling trips, we mainly target Landlocked salmon, brook trout, and lake trout (togue), as soon as the ice clears from lakes.

If you want to catch Smallmouth bass, we will swap out our gear and focus on one of many great ponds or lakes in the area—or take a trip down the famed Penobscot River. We also offer trips for Northern Pike and Largemouth Bass; we'll make sure your trip is an unforgettable experience. We provide a shore lunch during all of our freshwater fishing trips. We fish year-round, so give us a call and we can put together an itinerary that fits your needs and what species you're interested in catching—we offer lodging on East Grand Lake as well!
