Welcome aboard Maryland's premier charter boat The Marylander! At Maryland Fishing and Hunting, LLC we specialize in creating fun and memorable experiences with friends and family on the Chesapeake Bay!

Captain Jason Seman is a lifelong angler and full time charter boat captain that has proven, he can surely put you and your group on the fish! He and his crew are professional fishermen that are happy to share their knowledge with you about fishing the largest estuary in the world, the Chesapeake Bay!

When fishing with us, you will experience the vast beauty of the Chesapeake Bay from aboard our vessel The Marylander! The Marylander is a 48-foot Chesapeake Bay Deadrise Stye Boat that was constructed in Crisfield, Maryland in 1999 and was restored in 2023. It is currently powered by a 450 6CTA Cummins Marine Diesel engine. It is equipped with some of the latest navigational and fish finding equipment that helps provide a safe and productive experience for her guests daily. Our vessel is spacious and is legally inspected for 30 passengers and 2 crew members. We typically welcome up to 16 guests on board to provide for ample accommodations during your private trip with us. The Marylander's additional amenities include an onboard restroom, air-conditioning or heat, a spacious galley, covered canopy, and two bunks downstairs.

When you reserve a fishing trip with us in season, we typically target Maryland's state fish, the Striped Bass. Additional seasonal species may include Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and White Perch to name a few. We predominantly like to harvest our fish via light tackle fishing (live lining or jigging). We do seasonally troll for Striped Bass during the Spring and Winter Seasons at times. We try to use the best practices possible to ensure a productive and fun filled day on the Chesapeake Bay!

When reserving your trip we provide your fishing license while onboard our vessel and clean your catch for you at the end of your trip! As a reminder, our crew works for tips, and we appreciate your customary gratuity of typically 20%.

We also encourage that you bring accommodations such as proper seasonal attire, sun tan lotion (no spray on please!!!), snacks/food, ice, drinks, and cooler to store your food and beverage.
