Captain Mike has been offering his expertise on these local waters since 2004. With him on your team, expect to find Crappie, Blue Catfish, White Bass, Largemouth Bass, and more at the end of your line. There’s a variety of fishing techniques that you can try out, depending on your preferences.
Captain Mike Doll is an experienced and highly qualified US Coast Guard Licensed Master with a towing endorsement. He is also certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid, CPR, and AED for Adults, pediatrics, and Infant. In addition, he holds commercially insured boat insurance, including an umbrella policy, and is a certified boating instructor by the National Safe Boating Council. Captain Doll is a member of the American Boating Association and a registered professional fishing guide with the National Professional Anglers Association, making him a well-rounded and knowledgeable expert in the field of boating and fishing.
Your fishing platform for the day is a 23’ Ranger aptly named "Major Distraction". The vessel is rigged with a powerful main 400 HP Mercury engine, as well as a 15 HP Mercury Pro Kicker for short maneuvering, and has enough space to accommodate up to 6 anglers. Premier Garmin electronics will keep you on the bite, and a wireless trolling motor allows for a stealthy approach to new fishing spots.
Captain Mike will provide you with quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures to catch your limits. All you have to do is purchase a valid fishing license, which will be around $12 for the day. Onboard water and soda are provided on every trip, and guests can bring personal food and drinks. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join in the fun!

Came to Lake of the Ozarks with the grandparents and kiddos. Captain Mike took us out fishing and we had a blast! Everyone caught some fish and the kids were identifying all the fish by the end of the trip. Captain Mike finished off the experience with an exhilarating boat ride that had the kids laughing and screaming with fun. A highlight of our trip!
