Join him in the inshore, nearshore, and backcountry waters for a great fishing experience in Florida!
Join Captain Jim on his 22’ Panga LX center console with enough room for up to 2 guests. The boat runs on a 115HP Suzuki engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots, and uses GPS and a fishfinder. The boat also features a Live bait well and an ice box to store your fish and drinks. This is exactly the boat you want when fishing in shallow waters, with a casting platform to put you on target.
Your target species will include inshore game fishes, such as Permit, Bonefish, Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Black Grouper, Bull, and Lemon shark. Captain Jim also takes his guest into nearshore waters to target the likes of Cobia, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Little Tunny, and Triggerfish. Various snapper species are also on the menu, including Yellowtail, mangrove, and Mutton Snapper. Florida keys waters are teeming with a variety of fish, so you’ll have a fair shot at reeling in pretty cool species.
The charter provides top-quality Penn rods and reels, including fishing licenses, and bottled drinks as well. Everything else is covered including catch cleaning and filleting services, be sure to pack some sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Captain Jim knows his stuff, great guy fun to talk to and best of all puts you on the fish. Definitely recommend those hidden gems, and adventure's of fishing. We go to the Florida keys once or twice a year and Captain Jim will definitely be my go-to guy for some fishing fun.

We had an amazing time fishing with Captn Jim. We caught a wide variety of fish and Captn showed us new fishing techniques. At the end of the trip, Jim filleted our fish and gave it to us in a cooler to take home! Thanks so much for the experience, we will definitely be coming back!!

Captain Jim is amazing! My wife and I had a blast saltwater fishing for the first time. We caught plenty fish and kept 7 Mangove Snappers. Captain Jim flayed our fish and sent us to a restaurant where they cooked them for us. We can't wait to come back to fish with Captain Jim again!

We booked a half day trip with Captain Jim. Our 1st saltwater charter experience. It was a great day! We limited out on nice mangrove snappers. Caught a nice mackerel to keep also!! Caught many other fish that we didn’t keep also. Captain Jim is very knowledgeable and patient, hoping to go out with him again the next time we’re in the Keys!! We highly recommend Captain Jim!!!

My wife and I booked a half day trip with Cptn. Jim. We both love to fish, but don’t get to do as much as we’d like, so having Cptn. Jim to take us out and offer his expertise to not only put us on the fish, but also help with technique and did all of the baiting, even casting for my wife all day! He was very accommodating when we decided halfway through to extend the trip, he did so without issue. Even when the “Taxman” (shark) showed up and spoiled one technique, Cptn. Jim quickly switched up techniques and put us on our limit of sea trout in short order! Jim shared with us many valuable tips and pointers for things to do for the rest of our trip. We then enjoyed a drink and some more conversation with Jim at the Tiki Bar after he cleaned and packaged our fish for us! Looking forward to getting our days catch cooked up at a local restaurant tonight, and we will definitely be recommending Jim and hopefully be back to fish with him in the future!
