Barnegat Bay is a striped bass paradise, and we fish it hard from March through December when these fish are most active in our waters. You'll start your day with a comprehensive safety briefing at the dock – Captain Ray takes safety seriously, and it shows in how smooth our trips run. The boat is kept spotless and organized, with all the tackle, rods, and safety equipment you need included in your trip. We'll target the productive structure and current breaks where stripers love to ambush baitfish. Expect to move around to different spots throughout the day as we follow the fish and the tides. Our captains read the water conditions, bait movements, and seasonal patterns to keep you in the strike zone. Don't worry about experience level – we'll teach you proper techniques and help with everything from baiting hooks to fighting fish.
We run a well-equipped operation with quality rods, reels, and terminal tackle suited specifically for Barnegat Bay stripers. Depending on conditions and fish behavior, we'll employ various techniques including live bait fishing with bunker, herring, or eels, as well as artificial lures like bucktails, soft plastics, and topwater plugs when the fish are feeding aggressively. Captain George is a master at reading what the fish want on any given day and will switch up presentations to keep the action going. We carry a full selection of weights, hooks, and leaders to match the conditions. The boat's fish finder and GPS help us locate structure and mark productive spots.
