Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’re a novice or an expert and the captain will tailor a trip for you!

You’ll be with one of the most professional and preferred guides in the area, Captain Michael Behot. He has years of fishing experience and his goal is to give his clients the best experience possible for a reasonable price. With him, you’ll be in the hands of someone who is very familiar with the waters. His knowledge of the area was gained through his passion for fishing, as he has experience guiding in New Jersey, New York, the Florida Keys, and in Massachusetts.

MoonDog Fishing specializes in fly fishing and light tackle fishing. They mainly target Striped Bass, Bluefish, and False Albacore but also can do offshore fishing for Bluefin Tuna and bottom fishing for Fluke and Black Sea Bass. Please take note that they strictly practice catch and release for Striped Bass.

Your captain will provide the rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, fly fishing equipment as well as some drinks on board. All you need to do is grab your favorite snacks and drinks, wear weather-appropriate clothing, and bring your sun protection and a cooler for your catch.  Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of your trip, as well.
