Naples Fishing Charters with Chasin' Tails

We had a great time with Captain Geoff. We were in fish literally from the first cast. Geoff is fun to be around and he's great at teaching you the right way to get your bait to the fish. He'll definitely put you in the right spots to get on fish and he isn't shy about moving to the next spot when the fish cool off. We did a back country inshore and I highly recommend it, especially for those who don't want to spend a bunch of time driving to a spot before you fish. We had fish in the boat within 10 minutes of starting our day. Great trip!

My friends and I did a six hour inshore trip with Geoff yesterday. All I can say is WOW! We landed close to 60 mostly Snook throughout the day. While that is incredible, there a few other things the separated Geoff from other guides I have used. As an avid fisherman I’m a constant student of the craft and Geoff truly knows his stuff. I was able to learn a lot from Geoff from the way he reads the tides, use of electronics, even his technique of getting hooks out of the trees. Geoff consistently checked our leader and re-tied our hooks constantly to reduce the times the hook would break off- this was noticeably different and more pro-active then any other guide. I also loved that he had bait BEFORE we went out and allowed us to fish to the end of our paid time and our drive back was AFTER our paid time.These things really stood out to me and will certainly make Geoff the only guide I will use on the West Coast.

We booked with Chasin' Tails for the exact same trip 2 years in a row. Captain Tom did a great job both times. He helped us novices catch a couple of good meals worth of fish, and was knowledgeable on every species we caught. If we're back to vacation next year we'll be fishing with them again

Fourth time fishing with Captain Geoff's outfitter's "Chasin' Tales" and again, the trip did NOT disappoint. Blessed to have Captain "Coy" on this round and he was fantastic in every way. What a treat fishing with Captain Geoff. He’s a real pro from the quality of his boat and tackle through his intimate knowledge of backwater fishing around Naples. Geoff is prompt, always has quality live bait and puts you on the fish. Every time I’m out with him he teaches me something new or gives helpful hints on casting techniques, fighting and landing fish, etc. I can recommend Captain Geoff without reservation.

Second nearshore trip with captain Tom. Same results with mixed bag of small fish including snapper and grouper. Also blue runner which we trolled over local wrecks yielding monster barracuda both times!! Very knowledgeable about fishing location and technique. Will be back for an offshore trip for kingfish. Chasin’ Tails is a great operation!!
