We had an incredibly enjoyable experience on this excursion. My 16-year-old and 11-year-old children had an absolute blast. Especially my son, who has a deep love for fishing, and he would have happily spent the entire day out on the water. Although the fishing was a bit slow that day, we still managed to reel in some catches that we later enjoyed for dinner. Taylor's dedication to ensuring our success was evident as he went above and beyond to locate fish for us. As a proprietor of a small business, his commitment to his customers' fishing experience shines through. Taylor's friendly demeanor and his patient guidance in teaching my son the nuances of ocean fishing were greatly appreciated. The trip was truly exceptional, with my daughter even mentioning how the boat ride alone was worth it. This is an experience that's unquestionably worth pursuing.

We opted for the 1/2 day evening trip. Captain Taylor proved to be both friendly and well-informed. The boat turned out a tad smaller than I initially expected, though it maneuvered the waters smoothly. The sea exhibited choppy conditions, marked by 3 to 4-foot swells occurring approximately every second. Regrettably, our catch only comprised a lone barracuda, slightly dampening our expectations. It seems that's the nature of fishing – not always a guaranteed catch, but still, a light-hearted laugh at the "fishing vs. catching" adage. I was taken aback by the shallowness of the waters and the necessity to venture about 35 miles offshore for larger catches. For future trips, I'd suggest inquiring about these specifics beforehand. As my second deep sea fishing experience, the first being in the Caribbean's deeper waters, I found enjoyment even amidst the choppy ride. Kudos to Captain Taylor for the experience.

Captain Taylor was fantastic. We were thoroughly enjoying our Spadefish-catching adventure until a nearby scuba dive group unexpectedly anchored just 50 feet away. With divers swimming around and beneath our boat, Taylor made the quick decision to relocate and engage in trolling for Spanish Mackerel. During the trip, we were treated to the mesmerizing sight of dolphins trailing a shrimp boat, and we managed to reel in a few Mackerel—though it didn't quite match the excitement of the Spadefish experience. All in all, it was a positive outing for my wife, daughter, her boyfriend, and myself. While we wished for a more bountiful catch, it's important to note that the Captain isn't to blame for this outcome.
