What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Taha and their crew joined us for an early morning winter trip out of Port Orange FL with partly cloudy skies overhead. The conditions were solid for our 4 hours Inshore Fishing Charter in Daytona Beach with Captain Mark Gibson—Redfish & Shark Hunts, and we had everything lined up for a productive day on the water with Nauti Diver Charters. Once the stage was set, we worked through sight fishing, bottom fishing, and drift fishing techniques to cover all our bases. We didn't stick a trophy on this run, but every cast and minute on the water was worth it. The inshore waters around here are perfect for mixing up techniques like that - y'all can work the flats with sight fishing when the conditions are right, then switch to bottom fishing and drift fishing to stay on the fish. All in all, we had a great time cruisin' the flats and working different approaches throughout the trip. If you're thinking about getting out on the water for some solid inshore action, our Daytona Beach 4 Hr Inshore Fishing Up To 4 Ppl trips with Nauti Diver Charters are gonna give you the full experience. We focus on redfish and shark hunts using sight fishing, bottom fishing, and drift fishing techniques that work perfect in these inshore waters around Port Orange FL. Inshore fishing around Daytona Beach is heating up with solid action throughout the backwaters, flats, and mangrove-lined creeks. Redfish are feeding actively during early morning outgoing tides—look for them tailing near oyster bars and sandy drop-offs. Live shrimp, cut bait, and paddle tails are working well, especially around structures with moving water. Spotted Seatrout are also showing up in good numbers, particularly near grass beds and channel edges. Flounder have been biting close to sandy banks and bridge pilings, with some keeper-size fish in the mix. Anglers targeting Sheepshead around docks and seawalls are landing a few using fiddler crabs and shrimp. With warm temps and calm winds, now’s a great time to hit the water and enjoy productive inshore fishing along Daytona’s scenic coast.

The captain worked hard all day, moving to several spots to try and find a better bite. Even though the fishing was slow, the boat was comfortable and the trip was enjoyable. My son especially had a great time on the water. The captain put in the effort to make the experience worthwhile, even without landing anything big.

Captain Mark was fantastic. He knew all the right spots, but the bite was slow for everyone that day. Still, he never stopped trying. We managed a few smaller sheepshead, plus a whiting and a croaker, and he even took us into the river to keep the trip productive. Even with tough conditions, we had a great time and will definitely be back.
