Escape the crowds and hit the water with North Wind Curls. Let expert local Captain Elija Gilmour lead you to upstate NY's iconic waters of St. Lawrence River, Finger Lakes, Black Lake, and more for a day catching popular freshwater predators.
Depending on whether you will be on a river or lake, you will be casting from aboard either an 18' Semi-V Flat bottom boat or his 18' Duckwater boat. Each vessel can accommodate up to 4 guests on board fishing simultaneously. The boats are tailored to offer the best performance on any water type. Guests should expect to encounter numerous freshwater species, including Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Muskie on the St. Lawrence River, along with Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Sunfish, Crappie, Bullhead and Yellow Perch on Black Lake. No experience necessary - Capt. Elija will happily show everyone his secret techniques to help land you your trophy catch or personal best.
Included in the price are top quality rods, reels and tackle. Plenty of live bait and lures are also included. Guests must have a valid NY fishing license before the trip, and are encouraged to bring personal snacks and drinks in a small cooler.
Capt. Elija also offers winter ice fishing trips so you can enjoy the thrill of the reel all year long!

“My friend and I booked a trip with Eli on opening day. We had the greatest time. We hit our limits each day and had a great time. We also got a banded bird. These guys really are great at making sure we had a great time. We ran out of rounds the first day because there were so many birds and Eli and Jordan provided us with some to get us through the hunt. Also, Eli was awesome about allowing me to run my own dog and he was great at giving training and field tips for my pup.... and sneaking her a donut or two. First class trip all the way. We will definitely be back next year! If you are looking for guides that make you feel like you are hunting with your buddies, then these guys are for you."
