We made the right decision to book a trip with Ocean Cat. The best captain we've ever had. The crew worked hard to bring us to where the fish are and we caught a lot of Snapper! This one exceeded our expectations plus he was also great with kids. Can't wait to be back!

We’re so happy we chose the Ocean Cat! Captain Mike made us feel like old friends, and he worked tirelessly to ensure we stayed on the fish. He’s a great guy with a wealth of knowledge. The boat was spacious enough for our group of four, and Captain Mike even set up a huge sunshade to keep us cool. We’re still reminiscing about the fantastic trip! Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back! Five stars all the way!

I've been on this charter several times, and Captain Mike always puts us on the big fish, ensuring we hit our limit every time. Shane is an awesome first mate who works tirelessly. I 100% recommend this charter!

We had an awesome time with Captain Mike and deckhand Shane! The conditions were a bit rough, but the Ocean Cat handled the 3-4 ft swells effortlessly, making the ride out and back quick and allowing us to maximize our time fishing. We targeted larger snapper and had some success. Captain Mike made sure we didn’t waste time at spots without fish—if the big ones weren’t there, we moved on. We landed a 20+ pound snapper and almost had a second one at the boat before it pulled the hook. Despite that, we still came back with our boat limit of keepers, landing about 20 fish in total. We caught 3 Amberjack, several triggerfish, and a bunch of legal snapper, with only two snapper under 14 inches. We also spent about 30 minutes trolling between spots and got a nice bite, though the hook didn’t catch. Overall, it was an amazing trip—we caught plenty of fish in just half a day with only 3 people (and one of our party didn’t fish much). I highly recommend Mike and Shane to anyone looking for a great fishing trip, and I can’t wait to fish with them again the next time we’re in town!

My son-in-law and I had an amazing time. As soon as we were out of the channel and into the main ocean, Captain Mike had us on fish. We caught Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, hardtails, Amberjack (catch and release due to the season), and another species I can’t quite remember. Regardless, it was a fantastic outing, and Shane, the first mate, was quick to keep our lines baited. Later, he filleted our keepers. Big thanks to Captain Mike and Shane for such a great experience!
