If your looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, fish finding guide Capt. John is your guy! If it’s a slow day he will not stop until he finds the fish. The day we went out we were the only boat to bring in fish to the pier! New or seasoned fisherman he will give you the knowledge you need to succeed with him! Capt. John and On Q Guide Service is top notch and I can’t wait to go out with him again!!

My buddy and I have used On Q. Fishing Guide service a half dozen times or so. John was ALWAYS ON TIME and ready to get the fun started!! Even when everyone else wasn’t reeling um in, On Q managed to put us on top of the fish “A bad day fishing is better then a day in the office!” We have always had good days with John and will continue to use his services for all our fishing guide needs! Captain John Q. was a delightful presence throughout our trip. Despite the challenges of fishing, Captain John remained dedicated and put in continuous effort. I managed to reel in two out of the three required species for a slam early in the day. Captain John tirelessly worked to help me secure that final catch, but as is the nature of fishing, success wasn't guaranteed. Nevertheless, my wife and I had an immensely enjoyable day. Captain John's authenticity shines through; he's a truly genuine individual. Should I find myself back in Galveston, I would undoubtedly seek out On Q and eagerly aim to join him on his boat once again.
