Captain Andy Wayson is an expert and Friendly guide who has been fishing the Chesapeake Bay for over 4 decades now and knows all about getting you on the fish and providing you with a memorable fishing experience.
Captain Andy welcomes anglers of all ages and skill levels. Introduce your kids to these fun and productive waters and enjoy seeing their smiles when they hook in their first-ever catch! You will be checking the bite in the inshore waters. You will be trolling, jigging, Bottom fishing, Drift fishing, and light tackle spinning for Striped Bass, Black Drum, Cobia, White Perch, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, and whatever takes the bite!
He’ll be taking you fishing on his 32’ Manning Boat, that’s powered by a single 315 HP Yanmar Diesel engine and can get you to the fishing grounds in a snap. It uses a GPS, Fish Finder, Ice Box, and a Live Bait Well for an efficient and safe trip on the water. Captain Andy will do his best to get you an amazing and comfortable fishing experience.
The charter will supply you with everything you’ll need for a good fishing time, including Rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Fishing licenses will be provided as well, just remember to bring some food and drinks, and you’re all set! There will be First Mate to assist you when needed and the mate’s fee will be $25 per person.

Captain Andy and Lena were wonderful and made our family feel welcome the moment we stepped on the boat. We had a great day rock fishing and seemed to be one of her few successful boats. The boat was beautiful and the amenities were first class. I highly recommend Captain Andy. He plans to return in the spring.

Nice vessel and area for shade. Good crew and they are very knowledgeable. Caught a 40-pound red but had to release it. And no big fish the rest of the day. Great photo op though with the red though!

We booked a trip with Captain Andy on Outta Line Charters. The 32’ foot boat is in top shape and has plenty of room for 4 people fishing. The boat was the cleanest boat I’ve ever seen and very comfortable. Capt. Andy took us to where the fish were as we hooked a striper on the first run. Later in the day, we caught several more stripers and white pedals as we changed over from trolling to bottom fishing. Capt. Andy is an experienced and knowledgeable captain making your trip fun and memorable. We had a great time on the water fishing the Choptank River for the first time. 5 stars to Captain Andy and his mate, Annie!

He and his assistant Steve were very kind and helpful. They cleaned the fish at the end and answered questions. He had a lot of fun and he recommends this trip.

Captain Andy was without a doubt one of the best captains I have ever met. This was a man who knew his shit. He kept us fishing all day, catching bass, striper, oyster toad, all kinds of fish and always making us laugh with his great stories. His first mate Steve was great.
