Captain Shane rocks! He has taken my family and I on many charters down the Stono River, and we love every minute. We are all beginners at fishing, and Captain Shane is always very patient and helps us all hook fish... he even cleans them for us! His boat is clean, well equipped, and perfect for fishing. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, flexible fishing guide.

My buddy and I went out on a charter with captain Shane today. I would highly recommend this to everyone of any skill level. I’m a novice and my buddy is an avid fisher. Shane took time to teach me the basics while still providing my friend with a great time. Shane knows all the great spots. We each caught 6 to 7 fish. I landed a 4ft black tip shark which was a lot of fun

We love Captain Shane!! He is an easy going but knowledgeable Captain that really loves to share his passion with his charter guests. He found great fishing spots, but also showed us places with beautiful scenery and TONS of dolphins! I highly recommend him if you'd like someone who knows their stuff, can help you learn how to get some fish, and will show you the beauty of the low country!

Pluff mud fishing charters rocked our world!! Me and my husband were visiting family in Charleston for my 30th birthday and were able to book time out with Captain Shane and his super fun wife! We didn't have an agenda for our cruise but we were able to fit it all in!! We saw dolohin upon dolphin, we didn't even seek them out. Shane knows all the best spots for fishing too! We even ended our day on our own "private island" for a walk on the beach and photo opp with a beautiful lighthouse!! I HIGHLY recommend Pluff Mud and will be contacting them the next time we are in the area !!

Captain Shane went above and beyond to make sure we had fun. We caught a huge Red Drum on the way back after I felt discouraged at not catching anything. He taught us different techniques, put us on some great spots, all while remaining professional and keeping good conversation. I’m recommending him to all my friends if they ever visit Charleston! We definitely would love to go back out on the water with him in the future.
