Experience the diverse waters and incredible fishing of Northwest Georgia with an experienced local guide who has spent 8 years helping anglers make unforgettable memories on the water. From scenic river stretches to productive lakes, each trip offers a chance to explore a unique fishery while targeting some of the region’s most exciting species.
Fishing throughout Northwest Georgia means there is always something worth pursuing. Trips can take you along the Etowah River, Lake Allatoona, and other productive waters throughout the region. Depending on the season and your goals, you may target bass, striped bass, redeye bass, trout, hybrid bass, or white bass.
The Etowah River is especially special, offering a remote and scenic fishing experience with stretches of agricultural land and historic Native American fishing weirs still visible along the river. It also supports a naturally reproducing striped bass population, giving anglers an opportunity to pursue these powerful fish in a truly unique setting.
Choose a raft trip for an exciting float-fishing experience or head out on the aluminum center-console boat for a more traditional guided fishing trip. Raft trips accommodate up to 2 clients, while boat trips can accommodate up to 3 anglers. Whether you're an experienced fisherman chasing a personal best or a beginner looking to learn the basics, trips can be tailored to your experience level and target species.
There is no single peak season in Northwest Georgia. Spring brings excellent bass fishing, summer offers strong striped bass action, fall can produce aggressive feeding bass, and winter provides quality trout opportunities. Your guide can help determine the best approach based on the time of year and the species you want to catch.
Family-friendly trips are also available depending on the location and ages of the participants. Younger anglers are generally better suited to lake-based trips, where conditions are more controlled. First-catch experiences can include basic casting instruction, fishing techniques, and targeting active species to keep new anglers engaged.
The goal is simple: put you on great water, teach you along the way, and create the kind of fishing memories you'll want to share. Come explore Northwest Georgia and discover what makes its rivers and lakes such a special destination for anglers.
