Although the winds were stronger than expected, Weston was able to get my son and me on some fish. We caught several bluegill and perch, along with a couple of nice Rainbow Trout. We had a fantastic time and will definitely book with Weston again the next time we're in the area.

I took my 14-year-old son for an exciting day at Deer Creek Reservoir with Weston. We caught trout, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, and perch. It was a blast experimenting with different setups and techniques. Weston was fantastic—knowledgeable and friendly. The experience was definitely worth the money, and we’ll remember that afternoon for a long time.

I often wish I could give more than a 5-star review, so let’s say 10 stars for Captain Weston! He was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure everyone had the chance to reel in a fish. He was very engaging, which made the trip even more enjoyable. This charter was for my 17-year-old son, who loves fishing but has always fished from the shore. Captain Weston made sure he had a great time and even taught him how to clean the fish (though Weston did most of it). I mentioned that renting a boat with a $1000 deposit was much more expensive and less fun, and being with Weston was a much better experience. I was excited to learn that he also offers ice fishing trips, and I’m looking forward to doing that with him soon!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! We had the best time ever! Weston is incredibly patient—I ask a lot of questions—and he was not only highly professional but also very personable. He had us catching fish right away and kept us on them throughout the day. We ended up catching at least five different species! Book a trip—you won’t be disappointed! Hurry though, because with his talent, his schedule will fill up fast. Thank you so much, Weston! I can’t wait to see you next year!

The guide is incredibly personable and truly passionate about what he does. He even spends his days off fishing to scout where the fish are biting. He’s always honest about what’s currently biting and what species are hot that week. I’d definitely go again. Thanks!
