Captain Chris has been fishing for as long as he can remember, and his lifelong passion for the sport led him to start Reel Good Style—a charter service based in South Padre Island. His goal is simple: to share the thrill and joy of fishing with others. Whether you're a seasoned angler or brand new to the sport, Capt. Chris brings the energy, experience, and dedication to make your day on the water something to remember.

Reel Good Style offers 5 to 8-hour trips that focus on several fishing techniques, including bottom fishing, drift fishing, gigging, jigging, and popping. These trips target species like Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead, depending on the season and conditions. Capt. Chris works hard to put his guests on fish and keep the action going, making sure everyone has a great time.

The adventure takes place aboard an 18’ Shallow Sport boat that can comfortably accommodate up to four anglers. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own gear. Just be sure to purchase a valid Texas fishing license before your trip. Once you're on the water, it's all about relaxing, fishing, and making memories.

Families are always welcome, and kids are encouraged to join in on the fun. This is a child-friendly charter that prides itself on creating a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Guests are welcome to keep any legal catches, and fish cleaning and filleting are included. From pickup to clean-up, Reel Good Style takes care of the details—so all you need to do is focus on the fish.
