Our vessel, a 35' Marlago by Jefferson Yachts, draws inspiration from the iconic 33' Cigarette wide body crafted by the legendary Don Aranow. It boasts a pad hull and a step transom, ensuring a swift, comfortable, and stylish offshore journey. The boat is equipped with state-of-the-art Garmin and Simrad electronics, featuring satellite radio, satellite weather updates, a 14-speaker stereo system powered by an 860-watt 5-channel amplifier, Bluetooth connectivity, fish mapping capabilities, radar autopilot, and more.
Accommodating up to six guests, our vessel ensures a comfortable experience. Additional amenities include a freshwater shower, saltwater washdown, and a spacious swimming platform with a convenient ladder for easy access to and from the water.
June and July mark the prime season for Red Snapper and the beginning of Gag Grouper's emergence. It's the most sought-after time for offshore fishing enthusiasts. Family trip with two kids (12 and 5) and was perfect! He had us on fish right away, avoided some bad weather, and was great with the kids! Very knowledgeable and personable as well. Definitely will book with him again next time we are here!!

The original trip we booked with another Charter got canceled because of weather so, at 10:00 the night before we were supposed to go out we were scrambling to try to find somebody that would take us despite the fact that it was going to be raining. Captain Joe had a charter already booked in the morning but he offered to take us out in the afternoon and do his best despite the weather forecast. He let us know up front that we may have to turn around and it might not work out but we really appreciated the effort. Not only did we not have to turn around we had a great time and caught lots of fish. Yes it was a bit cold and rainy but despite that they he and Chris stayed out the full time and made sure that we were able catch plenty of fish. We weren’t able to go as far out as we would have liked to because of the weather so a lot of them were small but we did get plenty of Keepers too. We are already planning a trip back when the weather is better!

Highly recommended! Very attentive. Hit numerous fishing spots. Never stayed in a spot long if fish weren’t biting! Caught alot of fish and able to keep quite a bit. They made my husband’s birthday and our son’s first time out on the water very memorable!

Loved it. It’s wildly clear that Captain Joe is knowledgeable and wants you to have a good trip, and we caught snappers and redfish even though the rest avoided us on our day. Joe is a great host that takes a few minutes to warm up but that almost makes the trip better. I cannot for the life of me remember his younger mate’s name but he was excellent as well. Recommended.
