Guide Jeff Boshart has been obsessed with fishing since he was a little kid and always knew that fishing was and is his true passion. He has really enjoyed sharing his passion with many people over the past several years. Every time out on the water he knows he is where wants and was meant to be. Jeff guides trips for salmon and steelhead in Upstate New York on the east end of Lake Ontario’s tributaries including the Black River, Sandy Creeks and the Salmon River. He specialize in float fishing which is extremely productive and exciting method used for salmon and steelhead. We primarily float fish because of its effectiveness as you'll spend more time fishing in the strike zone and less time snagging bottom and re-tying. The float serves two main purposes: suspending your bait in the water at a desired depth and as a strike/bite indicator. If you want a shot of adrenaline, watch the float disappear right before your eyes…fish on!
