We kick things off early to beat the heat and catch fish when they're most active. After a quick safety briefing, we'll cruise out to our reef marks where the bottom structure holds good numbers of fish year-round. The trip has a laid-back vibe – no rushing, no pressure – just good fishing with plenty of time to enjoy being on the water. You'll spend most of your time bottom fishing over structure, but depending on what we're seeing on the fish finder and what's biting, we might mix in some different techniques. The 4-hour window gives us enough time to hit multiple spots if the first one isn't producing. Plan on getting back to the dock with a cooler full of fillets and some solid fish stories to share.

We'll anchor up over productive bottom structure and drop down with standard bottom rigs – typically chicken rigs or knocker rigs depending on the current and what we're targeting.
