Captain Ricky Spikes have been fishing the waters of Florida for 11 years, and he knows these waters like the back of his hand. He's got over a decade of experience on fishing charters, and he's familiar with all kinds of fish species in these waters. He passed his captain's license in 2014, so you know your trip is going to be safe.
Captain Ricky specializes in deep-sea fishing charters, but he also offers inshore and nearshore fishing trips as well—and if you're looking for some reef fishing or wreck fishing while you're here, Rick's got you covered.
When it comes to expertise, Rick doesn't mess around: he's got structure! He employs several different techniques and based on what type of fish you’re targeting, he will give you the chance to try out bottom fishing, trolling, live baiting, or even fly fishing! Bottom fishing involves weighing down a line and letting it sink to the bottom of the ocean floor where fish tend to hide. This technique has been proven successful time and time again for catching some amazing catches.
His boat is equipped with everything you need for a successful trip: rods and reels, bait, tackle boxes, ice for your catch—even the shadiest sunscreen so you don't burn out there on the water! He also carries water for passengers and keeps snacks on board for hungry customers.

Reel Sporty Charters offers an offshore fishing trip that will have you reeling in the fish. Our 8-hour trip is designed to target sailfish, amberjack, cobia, mangrove snapper, red snapper, snook, wahoo and mahi mahi. We offer this tour with a maximum of 4 guests per boat so you can enjoy the day with your family or friends without feeling crowded. While we've got plenty of rods and reels on board to accommodate up to four guests per boat, we do ask that each individual share one rod between them if they wish to fish together—we want everyone to have a chance at catching something big!

Wonderful experience, deep sea fishing and more, we were able to swim in the ocean to refresh ourselves, we got three kingfish, dolphins jumped in front of us on the way back, and we spotted two marine turtles adjacent to the boat. We will absolutely go out with them again.
