Captain Shaun Lambert, the heart and soul behind Reelking Charter, has spent his entire life perfecting his craft as a fisherman. Born and raised in Ida, Michigan, he graduated in 1997 and has since dedicated his life to the waters of Monroe. Fishing is more than just a hobby for Captain Shaun; it's a passion that drives him to provide unforgettable experiences on the water, especially for young anglers. Nothing makes him happier than seeing kids reel in their first fish, and it's this joy that fuels his commitment to each trip he leads.

Reelking Charter offers exclusive access to Monroe's remote lake waters, including hidden "honeyholes" that only a local guide can show you. Whether you're after walleye, yellow perch, or salmon, Captain Shaun ensures you’ll be set up for success. He provides top-notch rods, reels, lures, and live bait, along with expert guidance on the best fishing methods, particularly jigging. He’s dedicated to making your trip enjoyable and hassle-free, even cleaning your catch for you to take home.

The fishing vessel for these trips is a 31-foot Tiara sportfishing boat, which can comfortably accommodate up to six passengers. Captain Shaun's trips include everything you'll need for a day on the water, but he does recommend that everyone in your group purchase a local fishing license ahead of time. His trips operate from early April to mid-July for walleye in Bolles Harbor, and from August 1st to August 24th for salmon fishing in Ludington. Perch fishing is offered from the second week of September through the third week of October. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-timer, Captain Shaun ensures you’ll have a memorable experience.

One of the highlights of a Reelking Charter trip is that kids are more than welcome. Captain Shaun takes great pride in creating an environment where young anglers can experience the thrill of fishing in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
