Mike was one of the best guides I have had the pleasure to fish with. His technical knowledge of the area was incredible. His knowledge shines with his calm professional manner. Even with a tropical storm passing the day before, making for difficult weather, he was able to put us on fish from the first line in the water. In addition he was able to keep us in areas that were calm and absolutely incredible to fish, all the while our counterparts were getting beaten up just setting on the beach. Mike not only let us catch numbers but also put us on some very large reds. I can’t compliment him enough and I will definitely be booking trips with him in the future. If your in the Charleston area and looking for a true professional I would highly recommend going fishing with Right Tide Charters.

Mike is as good as they get as a person and as a fisherman. He will treat you like family from day one and you won’t find a better person to take you fishing for a variety of salt water fish. I highly recommend taking the opportunity to go and fish with him!

Captain Mikey took 5 members of our family out for a six hour fishing tour. Not only did he set us up for fishing in various locations, he also provided commentary about Charleston scoop along the route. We would contact Captain Mikey any time we or friends/family are back in the area. At the end of the tour he cleaned our catch and we enjoyed it for dinner. Overall we recommend 10/10!
