Rugged West Coast Sport Fishing

What an impressive fishing expedition! We reeled in Coho and Chinook, thanks to Captain Jonathan's expertise and infectious enthusiasm for ocean fishing. This journey served as an excellent introduction to ocean charter fishing for us, and we're eager to return for another round!

Had an incredible outing with my wife and 8-year-old kiddo alongside Jesse. We hauled in a plethora of fish, and even brought a couple home for dinner. Thank you for providing my son with a memorable first fishing experience and for a fantastic day overall. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

We opted for Jonathan's guidance, and he proved to be extremely amiable, ensuring a delightful and secure journey for us and our two young children, aged 3 and 6. Despite a slow start to the fishing, during which we were fortunate enough to spot a whale, Jonathan patiently addressed all our fishing inquiries. Over time, we managed to reel in 3 salmon, although a few got away. We appreciated Jonathan's encouragement to handle the rods ourselves when hooking a fish and his instruction on setting the hook, a level of involvement not always found with other charters. Though disappointed that fish filleting isn't provided due to safety policies, this was clearly communicated beforehand. While my son's life jacket was a tad too large, a minor oversight on my part, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyable experience. We'd happily choose this charter again for future outings.

Went on a half-day guided fishing excursion with high hopes of snagging some sizable spring salmon. Our captain expertly navigated us to the perfect spot, and our efforts were richly rewarded. We successfully reeled in a Coho and three impressive spring salmon, one of which was a notable Tyee. Witnessing my son's excitement during his inaugural salmon fishing endeavor was truly heartwarming. Our captain patiently guided him through the entire process—from hooking the fish to playing and ultimately landing it. Without a doubt, we'd eagerly repeat this experience. Captain Jesse exceeded our expectations, especially with my young children, all under 12 years old. Despite his years of experience, he maintains genuine excitement when the "reel goes crazy" and a sizable catch is hooked. Jesse generously allowed the kids to explore and experiment, yet he readily offered guidance when necessary. Our morning fishing adventure was simply fantastic. We landed 9 keepers, though a few slipped away due to regulations. Nonetheless, it was an unforgettable experience, especially for my mom and wife experiencing ocean fishing for the first time.
