It was a fun-filled day out on the water with Wade and their crew for our Half Day Trip – Wade Fishing (AM) in Port Aransas, TX. June is a prime time for fishing around these parts, as the warming waters bring in the Redfish and Spotted Weakfish. We had partly cloudy skies throughout the day, with some afternoon rain, but the water conditions were great, and that's what really matters when you're after a good bite. We started the morning drifting and using light tackle, working the flats and creek mouths to find where the fish were holding. It didn't take long before Wade's rod bent over, and he was into a feisty Redfish. Not long after, one of the crew hooked into a nice Spotted Weakfish, adding some variety to the day's catch. The bite stayed steady, and we all got in on the action, swapping rods and sharing the thrill of watching those fish come over the side. We had an amazing morning out on the water with Johnson and their crew for a Private 4-Hour Inshore Fishing Trip in Port Aransas, TX. May is a prime time for inshore fishing in this area, with the Redfish starting to really fire up in the shallows as the weather warms up. We met up at Conn Brown Harbor around 7 AM and got all set up, eager to get lines in the water. The conditions were perfect - partly cloudy skies, calm winds, and great water clarity. We started off jigging and baitcasting, working the edges of the flats and channels for any signs of baitfish. It wasn't long before the rods started bending, and we were into some feisty Redfish. The fish were hitting hard and putting up an incredible fight. We mixed it up, switching between heavy tackle and light tackle, jigging and drifting, to see what the Reds were keying in on. The variety of techniques really kept us on our toes, but the crew stayed dialed in and landed some impressive fish. In between the hot Redfish bites, we also saw some nice Trout and Flounder following the bait. It was just non-stop action all morning. By the time we headed back to the dock, the cooler was full, and the crew had big smiles on their faces. We had a great afternoon wade fishing trip down in Port Aransas, Texas with Tyler and his buddy. The weather was perfect, with clear conditions throughout the day. The water was in great shape, and we wasted no time getting our lines in.We started out working the shallows with some light tackle, trying to coax the Black Drum and Redfish up from the bottom. The fish were definitely active, and it wasn't long before we started getting solid hookups. The Black Drum put up some great fights, stripping line and making strong runs. They're such powerful fish, and it's always a thrill to get them on the end of the line. We also managed to land a few nice Redfish, their bright copper colors flashing in the water as they tried to shake the hook.As the tide started to change, we switched up our tactics, working the deeper channels with some heavier gear. The jigging and baitcasting rods really came in handy, and we started catching fish with more consistency. The action was steady, with both of us staying busy reeling in one fish after another. By the time we called it a day, our cooler was full of beautiful Gulf Coast gamefish. If you're looking to experience some world-class wade fishing in Port Aransas, Texas, I'd highly recommend booking a Half Day Trip – Wade Fishi (PM) with Russell & Sons Outdoors. We started the morning over some promising-looking inshore flats, baitcasting, heavy tackle, and light tackle techniques. It didn't take long before Jennifer's rod slammed down with the telltale thump of a big Black Drum. She dug in and fought that fish hard, muscles straining as it made several powerful runs. But she kept her cool and eventually brought that big boy boatside, a true trophy inshore catch. Not long after, she hooked into a feisty Spotted Weakfish, putting up a spirited fight before we got it in the boat as well. The action stayed steady throughout the morning, with a nice mixed bag of fish. What made this trip so special, though, wasn't just the great fishing - it was the overall experience. These powerful fish put up an amazing fight, carving through the water and making some incredible runs. Everyone in the group got a chance to battle one of these prized inshore species. As the afternoon went on, we kept catching. March is a prime time to be fishing the inshore waters around here, with the warming temps bringing the Redfish and Black Drum into the shallows to feed. The sky was clear and the water was looking great - perfect conditions to get out on the water and see what we could find.As soon as we got our lines in the water, the action started heating up. The group was eager to get casting. It didn't take long before someone had a solid Red Drum on the line, putting up a great fight before we got it in the boat. We kept the pace with everyone getting a chance to feel the thrill of a big fish on the line. The variety kept it exciting, and we were really able to showcase the awesome inshore action the Texas Gulf Coast is known for.In between catches, we had the chance to take in the beautiful surroundings. Redfish Bay is such a picturesque spot, with the boats bobbing in the water and the coastal breeze keeping things comfortable. It's the perfect setting to just kick back, relax, and focus on the fishing - no rush, no crowds, just us out on the water enjoying the day. That's what these trips are all about, creating those lasting memories out on the water with family and friends. If you're looking to get in on some world-class inshore fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast, I can't recommend the 4-Hour Morning Fishing Trip with Russell & Sons Outdoors enough. Whether you're an experienced angler or just getting started, we'll put you on the fish and make sure you have an unforgettable time on the water. A rare find,Corey Russell is a man of his word. When I booked a trip for a veteran friend and myself, I had one request ; that Johnathen catch a large Redfish. The day was a little slow for all of the guides. We caught a lot of quality fish , but no red for Johnathen. Corey’s determination for the task at hand was evident. After staying out longer than I would have Corey told Johnathen to get ready.!! Then it happened, Johnathen landed a beautiful 27.5” red ; looked like a silver Bullet . Finally my promise to J.P. Was fulfilled and Corey’s mission from me was completed , amen. The accommodations were more than adequate, from the ease of booking , loading up a vet ( severe PTSD.) and all of the company encountered was a great time . Beautiful Boat / beautiful people !! Russell and sons LLC puts A in A-TEAM . N.W.

My friend and I had the incredible opportunity to have Cory as our guide for a recent tournament, and wow, what an experience! Despite the challenging weather and our limited experience, we ended up catching the most fish in our entire group! Cory was not only patient but also shared some amazing tips that really elevated our game. We’re already claiming him for next year’s tournament because we can’t wait to get back out on the water with him! I can’t recommend him enough—what a fantastic adventure!

Cory took my dad and I out on a half day trip. Cory was super responsive from my initial questions (before I even booked) through the end of the trip. He's very personable, and he clearly knows what he's doing. We caught a ton of fish, and Cory worked his butt off for us. He was also a great coach helping my dad and me figure out some subtle techniques. I can't sing Cory's praises enough, but ultimately, my dad and I agreed it was one of our best fishing days ever. If I ever get back to that part of the world, I'll definitely call Cory again.

Corey is top notch and what you would expect from a fishing guide. Boat was in the water with bait was in the ice chest and ready to fish when we arrived early morning for our trip. Very honest and up front individual. Felt safe the whole time we were running from spot to spot with my daughters. Had a great time and took home our limits of fish! We will certainly be back to fish with him next time. Thanks Corey!
