Salty Dawgz' Charters provides adventurous fishing trips in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and takes every opportunity to keep its guests on many different fish species throughout the trip. Captain Mike Haney has been fishing the waters in this area for a long time and can work the trip around what you prefer to do or catch.
Their newest vessel, a sturdy 21’ Cape Horn center console, built to accommodate up to 4 guests. She features a T-Top for shade, as well as a safety rail that goes all around the front of the boat. It’s perfect for keeping the little ones out of harm’s way! This vessel is powered by a 225 HP Suzuki engine and reaches speeds of up to 31 knots. She’s equipped with a GPS, and Fishfinder to aid your captain in navigating the plentiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There’s also an ice box on board, so any refreshments you bring with you will be kept nice and cool all day long.
Whether you want to go bottom fishing for Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjacks and Groupers; trolling for Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, and King and Spanish Mackerel; or just heading out and hunting for some Sharks, Salty Dawgz will make sure they get you hooked on to a winner.

Most trips include everything you’ll need, so don’t worry about bringing anything more than sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and your favorite snack/beverage. Captain Stephen was wonderful! He got us right on the bait. As soon as we dropped our lines we all had fish. After catching bait, we cast using the bait and in no time had us a fish! We had 4 King Mackeral on the line but only managed to get 1 in the boat. My 9 year old son had the time of his life!!!

From the moment we contacted Salty Dawgz, Gretchen was super helpful and nice helping us set up our fishing trip. She was accommodating and took the time to answer questions about my concerns. Captain Stephen was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the bait and fish. He was patient with us and our child, and he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience and caught fish! We will always choose Salty Dawgz anytime we are in the area.

These are some great people. Cpt. Sean put us on fish at every stop we made. We got 5 different species including the BIG SHARK that was our target. Co.Captain Mike kept our rods loaded and ready to rock-n-roll. These guys know what they are doing.
