Captain Kevin White arrived in the Keys eight years ago as a USCG Master Captain. His goal is to introduce people to fishing, and he enjoys meeting individuals from diverse walks of life. The captain and his wife also operate another local business. With over 6 years of experience, he can assure you that you will learn a lot from him while having fun.
During your trip, you'll be hunting for Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Kingfish, Mangrove Snapper, and Wahoo. Light as well as heavy tackle, deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and drift fishing are some of the methods you might anticipate utilizing to capture them. You are allowed to keep your catch.
Catching this variety of fish requires a reliable boat, Salty Morada Charters got you covered; The twin 150 HP Yamaha engines power this 25' Sea Craft center console, which is outfitted with modern navigation gear such as GPS, a fish finder, and a VHF radio. The boat includes a portable toilet and a shower, as well as a live well, snorkeling gear, outriggers, and downriggers.

We decided to book a 3/4 day offshore trip with Kevin and brought along my four year old son and my father. We hooked in to 6 big fish but the fishing gods were not on our side and they all got away one way or another but capt Kevin was certain he would find fish for my little boy in his words "we will stay out till mid night if we have to" after our trip time seemed to be up he took us to just few inshore locations so my son could hit some fish all by himself

Very pleasant and educated. We left when the water became too turbulent and headed bayside, where we had terrific fishing. On the way in, we stopped and snorkeled. It was a fantastic morning!!

Kevin is an excellent captain who is courteous, patient, and delivers excellent service. He is well-versed in the area and provided a wealth of information about the keys. She was quite helpful to a beginner fisherwoman and was extremely tolerant with our seasickness. The boat is in excellent condition, really clean, and extremely comfortable. I would strongly suggest him, particularly for families and those looking to catch some great offshore fish. After you've caught your fish and he's fileted it for you, stop by his wife's lovely olive oil shop, Olive Morado, and pick up some key lime or lemon olive oil to cook it in. It's a perfect match!

What a fantastic time! We went drift fishing and I believe we caught a fish every time we crossed the reef! Kevin is a great guy who goes out of his way to make sure you have a wonderful time. Then we went to Crocodile Reef, which had some of the most beautiful water and snorkeling you could imagine. To cap it off, we prepared filets from our catch. The trip was perfect.
