We had an absolutely amazing time with Captain Jon. His knowledge of the area is amazing and will put you on the fish every time. He keeps it fun too giving you a good hearted heckling when you miss one of those monster redfish that he puts you into position to catch . We have had great trips with Jon. What I really like is he takes the time with my boys every trip to teach them the proper way to work the baits depending on the conditions. It not only makes for a really fun day, we all leave with more knowledge of bay fishing. He definitely cares about his clients and doesn’t just sit in the boat and watch you work the bait wrong, he spends the time and effort to make sure everyone has a good time. My kids ask when are we going back to fish with Salty Peters Guide Service.

Despite not reaching the catch limit, the trip was fantastic. They caught over 60 fish, explored local history, and Captain Peters ensured a diverse fishing experience, including shallow waters and observing stingrays.
