My son planned a fishing trip at a local lake, but Sam called the night before to suggest a venue change due to poor fishing conditions. We met up and headed to the Everglades, which turned out to be an adventure in itself. The boat ride was breathtaking, surrounded by incredible wildlife as we made our way to the fishing spots. Sam was fantastic—one of those rare individuals who genuinely cares about ensuring everyone has an unforgettable time. He made the day exceptional, and my son and I felt an instant connection with him, feeling completely at ease. We caught plenty of Peacock bass and shared an incredible experience. We had a fantastic full-day trip with Captain Sam! I brought along a friend visiting from Illinois, and he absolutely loved the experience. While we hoped to catch Peacock bass, we still had a great time reeling in Oscar, largemouth bass, and even an alligator gar. The scenery in the Everglades was stunning, and Sam's decision to avoid Markham Park due to water levels made for a much better day. Sam is not only knowledgeable but also great company—plenty of laughs, engaging conversation, and some incredible "secret" fishing spots. We’ll definitely be booking with him again!
