Our boat is the Everglades 290, a 29-foot boat built for safety and speed. It can accommodate up to 6 guests and is equipped with modern gear, great fishing equipment, and advanced electronics to keep you on the fish. It runs on twin 225 HP Honda engines, . Plus, it's fully equipped with Coast Guard-approved safety gear, including a bathroom for your comfort during the trip.
One of our specialties is the incredible Striped Bass fishery that graces our waters. Striped Bass offer two fantastic seasons: one in the spring (typically running from April to June) and another in the fall (from October to December). To lure in these prized fish, we employ an array of techniques, including mojos, Parker spoons, swim shads, Nomad Vibes, topwater plugs, and live bait—whatever it takes to land that fish of a lifetime.
For families and those looking for a more relaxed fishing experience, the Summer Flounder is a great catch that's available from June to September. We provide the necessary bucktails and bait options to help you fill your cooler with these delectable fish.We'll help you catch delicious Black Seabass and Blackfish in our nearby waters. They're fun to catch and great for eating. Our skilled crew will make sure you find the best spots to fill your cooler with these tasty fish. We also go after other exciting species like Cod, Porgy, and Triggerfish on our trips, offering a variety of fishing experiences.
Sandy Hook Charters takes care of all your fishing needs, including rods, reels, tackle, and bait. Just bring your own food and drinks, and we'll handle the rest. Should you decide to keep your catch, our crew can clean and bag it for you. As a customary practice, a 20 percent tip is appreciated if you're satisfied with your experience.

What a great Sunday spent on the water. Decided we wanted to do something different with the kids (and our plus one child) so we got in touch with Tim from @sandyhookcharters. Early in the week we decided we would do some fishing, unfortunately the winds didn’t cooperate with those plans. But Tim didn’t disappoint. Instead he planned a whole afternoon of site seeing along the rivers and followed it up with the mansions in the Rumson area, including Jon Bon Jovi’s recently sold house. Some of these houses look like hotels!! He definitely knows his history of the area too! We all had a great day and by the end of our cruise, the winds died down and we could have stayed out there longer. Thank you Tim at Sandy Hook Charters for a fun family day on the water. We will be back once it warms up so we can enjoy some time in the water too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
