Florida holds the title of the Fishing Capital of the World, and at the heart of that reputation is the Homosassa region. This diverse habitat is home to over 200 species of fish, including some of the most sought-after gamefish on the planet. Depending on the season, you’ll have the chance to catch Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Cobia, Kingfish, Permit, Grouper, Snapper, Sharks, and many others.

Captain John welcomes all types of anglers. Whether you’re fishing for the first time, a family looking for a fun outing, or a passionate angler seeking your next great catch, you’ll find the experience informative, exciting, and well-organized. With years of guiding experience and deep local knowledge, Captain John is committed to providing a memorable and productive day on the water, no matter your skill level.

Every charter is fully inclusive. There’s no need to bring any fishing gear or licenses—we supply everything. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided, along with fishing licenses for everyone on board. The boat is stocked with coolers filled with ice and bottled water, and if the weather turns, we’ve got foul-weather gear ready for you. When the day is done, your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you to take home.

Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Beer in cans is permitted, but please leave glass bottles at home. For comfort and safety, bring polarized sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (no spray, please), and dress according to the weather. Each trip requires a deposit to confirm your reservation, and the remaining balance is due on the day of your trip by either cash or credit card. Tipping is not required but is always appreciated for great service.
