Scotty J's Charters is the place to go if you want to get down to Gulfport and go on an inshore or nearshore fishing trip.

Scotty J's Charters has been in business in Gulfport since 1992, and their location on the sea allows them quick and simple access to the finest fishing grounds of the Gulf of Mexico, and the waterways around the renowned Sunshine Skyway Bridge, and Tampa Bay. They maintain their finger on the pulse and are constantly up to speed on fishing conditions because they are out on the water every day.

Their newest vessel is a 2022, 30' Sea Hunt Gamefish center console with seating for up to 6 guests. Onboard, you'll discover a modern Garmin fishfinder with dual displays and a chart plotter, as well as radar equipment, live bait wells, and iceboxes to keep your drinks cool. On board, there is also a flushable private toilet!

They take out from Gulfport Municipal Marina and travel to the waterways around the historic Sunshine Skyway Bridge, Tampa Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico. They maintain a pulse on fishing conditions so they know what's going on when it's time to go for some fish. They also make certain that everyone has enough ice so that they may enjoy their beverages while fishing!

Book our 4-hour inshore excursion if you're seeking a wonderful inshore trip. You'll be only a short boat ride away from some of the best fishing in lower Tampa Bay. We continue to target the numerous rock piles and ledges that we do nearshore.

This trip includes all fishing equipment, gear, bait, catch cleaning, and your fishing license. Just remember to bring some food and beverages with you.
