Although the Captain and his assistant were great and we each caught Rockfish, once everyone caught only one fish we returned to the dock. We paid for a four hour trip. But it only lasted two hours. Terry Peel

I booked a morning charter with Captain Herman and his first mate Brendan, and it was an amazing day on the water. We got off to a fantastic start with three rockfish bites in the first 15 minutes. When the bite slowed down after about an hour, the crew made some tackle adjustments, and we spent the rest of the trip hauling in bluefish nonstop. I’ve been on plenty of charters in various locations, and it’s frustrating when the crew seems disengaged or unwilling to adapt to improve the experience. That’s not the case with these guys—Captain Herman and Brendan were enthusiastic, attentive, and dedicated to making the trip a success. I’d recommend Screaming Eagle Charters to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing adventure.

Captain Herman and his crew went above and beyond, even in challenging waters, to ensure we found fish and made the trip worthwhile. Although we had only booked a 4-hour charter, he stayed out several extra hours to ensure everyone on board left satisfied. Their professionalism and expertise were truly impressive. I highly recommend fishing with Captain Herman!

The captain and first mate were punctual for our booking and did an excellent job keeping the boat clean as we caught fish. The captain shared an interesting story about the old lighthouse in the bay and was incredibly friendly throughout the trip. He also filleted our catch, which included an impressive 19 bluefish. We even got to see a flock of pelicans flying past the boat, making it a truly enjoyable and memorable day.

We spent two great days on the water with Captain H. and Brendan—one half day and one full day—and both were fantastic. We hit our limit on big Striped Bass each day and came close to limiting out on Blues during the full-day trip. The boat is a seasoned vessel—comfortable, steady, and well-equipped. The gear was top-notch, and the crew couldn’t have been better: knowledgeable, attentive, and a lot of fun to fish with. Most importantly, they know exactly where the fish are and how to put them in the boat. We won’t be booking with anyone else in the area. Tip: plan for about 40 minutes to get to Neavitt from St. Michael’s.

I’ve been on quite a few fishing charters before, including several booked through FishingBooker, but this one tops them all. We caught so many fish that we spent a good part of the trip catching and releasing after limiting out early. Some were even oversized and had to be let go! Captain Herman and Brendan went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. They’re professional, fun, and truly care about giving you a great experience. I highly recommend Screaming Eagle Charters if you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water—I’ll definitely be coming back soon with my boys.
