Captain Paul Spear has been fishing his entire life. He's a USCG Licensed Captain with over 30 years' experience, and he's recognized as a successful Captain.
Captain Spear runs Sea Dog Fishing Team and Charters in Cape Cod. He's joined by Captain David Bois, who ran his own successful Charter business Stripers R Us for 30+ years, and First Mate Kevin Spear, who grew up as First Mate is also now a USCG Licensed Captain.
Paul Spear is the captain of Sea Dog. Paul has been fishing for over 30 years, and has been captaining boats for about 20. He started out as an avid angler before he became interested in being a captain. He enjoys sharing his passion for fishing with others, especially kids!
The company offers both kid fishing trips and bass fishing trips. The kid’s trips are designed to help children learn about fishing while having fun and enjoying the outdoors. These trips are great for families with young children who are interested in learning more about fishing or just want to enjoy some time together out on the water. The inshore fishing trips are designed for all skill level anglers who want to catch some big fish in one of the most popular areas on Cape Cod Bay.
The boat they uses is a 24-foot Boston Whaler with twin 140 horsepower engines that can take up to six passengers at once on an excursion. The boat has a live well in the center of the deck where you can keep your catch fresh until you're ready to bring it home.

We had a fantastic time last week! My son and my grandkids loved it, and so did I! Captain Paul made sure to take us where the kids would catch fish, and they were thrilled that we got some nice ones! Captain Paul was so terrific with the boys…. the whole trip was memorable, one of the highlights of our visit to the Cape.

Paul and Kevin were just awesome guys. Very accommodating, very friendly, very personable, and very knowledgeable! They even gave us a couple recipe ideas for cooking our bluefish(which tasted amazing btw). We could not recommend Sea Dog enough, we had an amazing day!

Capt Paul was determined to get us catching fish. It was the first time out for my 12 year old nephews and he and First Mate Brian explained everything to them and made sure they had a great experience. The smiles on their faces were so worth it. They are excited to go out again with Sea Dog next year. Can’t recommend them more highly.

the whole experience was fantastic ! if you are looking for a down to earth family friendly fishing trip, I highly recommend going with paul and kevin ! we caught 20 fish in our three hour tour !
