Your journey starts on a 21’ Kenner center console boat powered by a 200 HP Yamaha and can accommodate up to 4 anglers. The tunnel hull enables the boat to run in very shallow water to quickly get you to where the fish are, while the modified v-hull maintains a comfortable and dry ride in the chop.
You and the captain will target Redfish, Cobia, Snook, Tarpon, Black Drum, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, the mighty Bull and Blacktip Sharks, and the delicious Sheepshead. Scallops are also available when in season, which runs from June to September. You will have snorkeling equipment available for the scalloping trips, and fishing gear for all other types of fish you plan to catch.

We had a great day out on the water with my buddy Jeff Tant, running a Half Day Trip (AM) down in the Weeki Wachee area. March is a prime time for fishing in these parts, with the Common snook starting to really fire up as the weather warms up. We met up at the launch point in Weeki Wachee early that morning, got our gear ready, and headed out into the clear, calm conditions. As soon as we hit the water, the fish started biting. We tried a mix of jigging, trolling, and both light and heavy tackle, working different parts of the spring-fed river system to find where the snook were hanging out. It didn't take long before Jeff's rod bent over hard—he set the hook and was into a nice fish. After a solid battle, he landed a healthy Common snook, a great start to the day. We kept at it, boat-side chumming and working different lures and live baits, and the action just kept getting better. Over the course of the morning, we landed a bunch more snook, putting some quality fish in the boat. "Spotted Seatrout, Snook, and Stunning Florida Scenery"
We had a great day out on the water today with Matthew Sitarski for our Half Day Trip (PM) with Seize The Bay Fishing Charters. The weather was partly cloudy throughout the day, which made for comfortable fishing conditions. As we headed out, we started by working some jigging and trolling techniques, and it didn't take long before we started hooking into some nice Spotted Seatrout. The fish were feeding aggressively, and we had a blast getting them topside. We switched things up and tried some heavier tackle, and that's when the real action started. A big Common Snook smashed one of our baits, and the fight was on! That fish put up an incredible battle, stripping drag and making some impressive jumps. After a few tense minutes, we were able to get it in the boat, and everyone was pumped to see such an awesome fish. The rest of the trip was filled with more quality fish, with the Spotted Seatrout and Snook continuing to keep us busy. We mixed in some light tackle techniques as well, adding a bit of variety to the day. Spectacular Seatrout, Drum & Sheepshead: A Weeki Wachee Fishing Frenzy
Alright folks, let me tell you about the epic day we had out on the water with Jason Curtis on our Fishing Charters Homosassa Florida | 8 Hour Charter. It was a picture-perfect day - the kind that makes you just want to grab a rod and soak it all in. The weather was spot on, the water looked great, and we were all fired up to see what the Weeki Wachee fishery had in store for us. As soon as we hit the water, the action started heating up. The Spotted seatrout were really on the feed, smashing our baits as soon as they hit the surface. We had a blast working different spots and techniques to keep them coming. The variety of species we encountered really made the day special. One minute we'd be battling a feisty Spotted seatrout, the next a bruiser Black drum would have us scrambling. It kept us on our toes, but that's what makes inshore fishing so much fun - you never know what's going to be on the other end of the line. Every day is an awesome day on the water that even a 9-year-old kid can nail it!!! Caught about a dozen Reds with the biggest being a 36-inch slob!! Early September 2023 Fishing Season
Started the September season with a blast! We maxed out our Redfish catch just within our first 15 minutes. Caught a massive 36" Redfish. Amazing trip and catch!
